Generative AI Policy

1. Purpose & Scope

Go Black Own, LLC (“Go Black Own,” “we,” “our”) acknowledges both the power and potential risks of generative artificial intelligence (“Generative AI”) technologies. This policy governs the design, deployment, access, and oversight of Generative AI features made available through GoBlackly OS and affiliated services (collectively, the “Services”), as well as their use by employees, contractors, clients, and partners. This policy complements, but does not replace, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and other applicable legal agreements.

2. Principles & Commitments

We commit to using Generative AI in a manner consistent with our values of equity, inclusion, transparency, accountability, and respect for individual rights. In particular:

  • Transparency: We will clearly disclose when content or outputs are generated or altered by AI, and provide users with insight into how the AI system arrives at its recommendations or results.
  • Human Oversight & Control: Decisions made with or by AI will remain subject to human review, override, or appeal wherever feasible, especially in high-stakes or sensitive contexts.
  • Fairness & Bias Mitigation: We will regularly audit, test, and refine AI models to identify and mitigate biases (racial, gender, cultural, socioeconomic, etc.).
  • Privacy & Data Protection: We will handle personal, sensitive, or proprietary data in compliance with all applicable data protection laws and our privacy commitments.
  • Intellectual Property Respect: We will ensure AI models do not infringe upon third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other proprietary rights.
  • Responsible Use & Legal Compliance: AI features will not be designed or permitted to facilitate unlawful conduct, defamation, harassment, misinformation, or discrimination.

Continuous Improvement: We will monitor advances in AI ethics, law, and best practices and update our systems and policy accordingly.

3. Use of AI in Our Services

3.1 Built-in AI Features

  • Generative AI functionalities (e.g. content drafting, recommendation engines, automated summaries) embedded into the Services are considered features—not full autonomy.
  • Users will have clear opt-in or opt-out options where feasible.
  • AI-generated content may be labeled (e.g. “Generated with AI”) to distinguish it from human-authored content.

3.2 Training Data & Model Governance

  • We do not use confidential customer content (unless permitted) to train new AI models without explicit consent.
  • Third-party AI providers integrated with our Services must adhere to equivalent data privacy, security, and usage limitations.
  • We will document and version model changes and maintain audit logs of model behavior, updates, and performance over time.

3.3 Output Validation & Review

  • Where AI outputs may affect reputations, legal obligations, or sensitive decisions (e.g. reviewing user feedback, generating public-facing marketing copy, reputational statements), we require human review before publication or distribution.
  • We provide mechanisms for users to flag, challenge, or request correction of AI-generated content or decisions.

4. Client / User Responsibilities

Clients, partners, and users who leverage AI features within the Services must agree to:

  • Use AI responsibly, ethically, and legally, including compliance with defamation, intellectual property, privacy, and anti-discrimination laws.
  • Not use AI to generate or disseminate hateful, harassing, misleading, or fraudulent content.
  • Promptly report misuse, errors, or harmful outputs.

Failure to comply may lead to suspension or termination of AI access or broader platform privileges, at our discretion.

5. Risks, Liabilities & Limitations

  • AI is not infallible: outputs may be imperfect, biased, or erroneous. Users assume responsibility for verifying and editing AI-generated content.
  • To the extent permitted by law and contract, Go Black Own disclaims liability for harm resulting from legitimate use of AI features, including reputational, financial, or legal consequences.
  • We may maintain insurance, limitations of liability, and indemnification clauses in contracts to manage risk exposure.

6. Monitoring, Audits & Updates

  • We will periodically audit AI system performance, fairness, and biases.
  • We will collect metrics (e.g. error rates, user feedback, flagged content) to inform improvements.
  • We reserve the right to pause or retire AI features pending investigation if issues emerge.
  • This policy will be reviewed and updated regularly to reflect technological developments, legal changes, and learned best practices.

7. Disclosures & Notifications

  • When new or substantially changed AI features are introduced, we will notify users or clients in advance (e.g. via release notes or policy updates).
  • Users will have access to a summary of how models are built, key input data types, and recourse mechanisms.
